This is a basic 16 character by 2 line display. White text on blue background. Interface code is freely available. You will need 11 general I/O pins to interface to this LCD screen. Using the common Samsung KS0066 parallel interface chipset which is equivalent of Hitachi HD44780. Includes LED backlight.
